Sheets printed up for last game session were bad, i'm bringing correct sheets to game Sunday.
OOC The sign in desk will be located on the second floor room with couches. This is the only area where OOC behavior is to occur past quick rules clarifications. As a game we have a big problem with people dropping OOC for extended amounts of time and sucking most of the player base into it. It is everyone's responsibility to OOC talk in the OOC room.
Influences Significant actions will be processed once a month at the end of the month. Significant/Major actions are ones that impact the environment around you such as buying businesses, shutting businesses down, getting cops fired, getting magic items, enacting legislation, getting the news to run an investigative piece ect. Growths traces and attacks will also count as major actions. Major actions need to be submitted within the first week of the month and will tie up whatever level of influence required for the rest of the month.
Minor actions will be resolved at game like getting information, drugs, guns, tying up masquerade breaking new stories (not minor but a critical component of game). Instant gratification of these influence requests will still cost double.
This system will be undergoing constant refinement in an attempt to balance player needs with staff energy. All actions must be submitted to email@example.com in addition to anything discussed at game.
Bribes and favors opportunities will be available in appropriate situations for people who are out of influences for the month. Do not bank on these opportunities always being there and plan influence spends accordingly. Players who don't frequently spend their influences should make a point to advertise their services for a steep price to encourage RP and IC profits.
Major influence uses for August are due by the 16th due to this information coming out late. As me at game if you have a question about if an influence action is major or minor.
IC Game sites IC need a write up. Prince, keeper, or whoever is responsible for procuring the site please have a write up on hand to leave at the sign in desk. If there is no description provided gathering site will be at an appropriate low security site of my choosing. Regardless of actual IC Game site, they will always have the same rough physical layout similar to the church. This is being done so the entire property can be considered IC and we can take better advantage of our super awesome game site.
Locationally Challenged permission only you are always at gathering unless you are in the OOC room, or you have a signed item card from staff giving you permission to be somewhere else. This is being done to cut down on confusion of where people are and ghost town courts.
Costumes are awesome, we have a (for the most part) private, climate controlled site. Please don't be afraid to put some extra effort into your PC's costume.
Humanity and the Beast will be a focused theme for my administration. Expect to see more frenzy chops if we see you get humiliated or you are the target of other beast antagonizing situations. Your beast is your worst enemy.
1 PC per month is now active. This goes by named calendar months, September being the next chance to play a different PC at game. You're free to travel and do email stuff with your other PC's but I want you playing the same pc all month from 6-10 on Sunday nights. This is a trial program, please cooperate with it instead of trying to lobby loopholes or create extenuating circumstances.
Ghoul auras will now read as human auras and vampires possessing mortals or ghouls will read as human auras unless you specialize investigation in reading auras.
Communications outside of CiD during game House bylaw 6.1 Any Character not signed in to Columbus in Darkness is not permitted to communicate In Character information during the Columbus in Darkness game session to a Character signed in to CiD.
Communication will be considered sending OR receiving information. No messaging/list posts while game is active and no taking info off posts and bringing into active play while signed in.
House rules will be amended with new information shortly.

2. New Character Creation
A. A new player character shall be restricted to the points allowed under standard character creation in the appropriate Mind's Eye Theater rules, plus up to
sixty (60) experience points.
i. Any awards of traits, abilities, or other character statistics count towards this limit as the amount of experience that the player would have had to
spend to purchase that particular statistic.
B. Up to sixty (60) unspent experience from a previous character that has been rendered unplayable through death, retirement, or otherwise permanently
removed from play may be rolled over into the new character, however the combined total from storyteller awards and unspent experience may not total
more than sixty experience points for any reason. Any awards made towards the creation of a new character must be made within three game sessions of
the character entering play.
i. These points may be spent only as Experience points, not as creation points. This spending should follow your Chronicle's House Rules.
ii. These points may not be allowed to purchase any power above second Basic in any out of clan Disciplines, nor above first Basic in any Clan
specific Disciplines (Chimerstry, Protean, Mytherceria, etc.).
iii. Rare and Unusual Rules apply to how this experience is spent.
iv. Points diverted from a previous character to a new character, as defined in section 2.B above, may only be used once, and may only be used for a
single new character. Multiple characters may not harvest gains from a single previous character.
C. Experience points already spent shall not be transferred or refunded to another character. Points approved by the player character's home chronicle are
